About Me

About Me

Hi, I’m Lissy, owner of LDV Business Solutions. I am a certified QBO Proadvisor, bookkeeping professional, and financial coach. I have well over five years of bookkeeping experience working in both QuickBooks desktop and online.

My experience stems from my own business ownership experience, my expertise in QuickBooks online, and a background in coaching. Over the past two decades I have owned businesses in both the retail and service sectors. I know the hard work and leap of faith that goes into starting, running and growing a business. In most of my ventures I have partnered with other business owners and love the synergy of working with a team. I have also found that I naturally gravitate towards the operations of a business. My favorite place to work in a business is behind the scenes, in front of a computer, managing the finances, developing systems and processes and strategizing how to grow and improve the functionality and profitability of the business. I love what others might consider mundane tasks like data entry, bookkeeping, spreadsheets, budgeting and checklists.

Coaching / Consulting

I trained and certified as a life coach in 2017 and followed that up with further training in personal finance coaching and divorce coaching. Developing my coaching skills, along with my experience in working with divorcing couples, has helped me further hone my communication and people skills. I know how to listen so people feel heard and guided by their own inner wisdom, but I’m also all about action and getting the right stuff done.

Our Services

Our services include basic bookkeeping coupled with a customized deep dive financial review, to help you manage and more importantly understand and connect with your business financials. This helps you make better, more informed decisions in your business based on the numbers. Using this information, we can then work together to develop a clear strategy and goals, to get more done in your business. We love working specifically with service based, small business owners / solopreneurs.

Being A Solopreneur And Providing A Service

Being a solopreneur, and providing a service that you love, to clients that you love, as well as building a business on your own, can be so rewarding. It can also be overwhelmingly busy and lonely. You are responsible for everything, and wearing all the hats in your business. As a bookkeeping business coach, I take on the basic bookkeeping tasks in your business, help you understand and interpret your financials, and then use the information that comes out of that, coupled with monthly or quarterly financial review sessions, to help you figure out where to focus in your business and what to do next. I serve as part financial coach, part sounding board, and part accountability partner.
